The world is surrounded by data. Musical players, industrial automation, mobile devices, toys, websites, and automobiles are just a few examples of products that generate and use data. To bring meaning and purpose to the wealth of data that impacts society daily, Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning have evolved by using algorithmic methods and tools.

In this week-long webinar course, participants will explore the basics of Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning by creating, executing, and evaluating data-based models. They also will be introduced to open-source tools for defining and analyzing problems using Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning methods. Google’s AIY kits (Voice and Vision) also will be explored in this webinar course.

July 17 – Day 2 – Creating a Predictive Analytic Model – Linear Regression Basics, Lab Project: Predicting the Electrical Behavior of a Light Sensor Circuit

The Day 2 class is a continuation of the Predictive Analytics introduction session. Predictive Analytics modeling using linear regression will be investigated. The hands-on project will consist of wiring an online-based Arduino Light Sensor circuit simulator using TinkerCad circuits. The electrical...
