Apple continues to heavily promote the camera improvements in its latest iPhones, and iPhone 16 is no exception. Two of the new smartphone’s key camera features are a 48 megapixel camera that shoots both high-resolution images and also close-up shots with a 2X telephoto lens. In addition, the new smartphones also have separate camera control that makes it much easier to regulate various photographic functions.

While the latest iPhone won’t be available to the public for a few more days, cinematographer Erik Henriksson and photographer Eddy Chen explain how they captured iconic visuals using the new cinematic slow motion in 4K120, Camera Control, and Photographic Styles on the iPhone 16 Pro, in a video released by Apple. The video explains the filming of new music video “Dancing In The Flames” by pop music artist “The Weeknd,” whose major claim to fame was the music hit “Blinding Lights” four years ago.  According to Henriksson and Chen, the new features make iPhone 16 is a filmmaking powerhouse.
