How many of us wish that we had our hands on one of Chevrolet's new mid-engine C8 Corvettes? A lucky few have been able to get the cars, whose production was delayed last fall by a worker strike and suspended this year by the COVID-19 industry shutdown. Intended buyers have had to wait, and others of us still have only to dream of cars we can't buy yet, but aspire to one day.
For both groups, Chevrolet has produced a series of videos about the new car, describing exciting details like the Performance Data Computer (which provided the video and data overlay in our track test of the car) and the operation of the paddle-shifted dual-clutch transmission, to the more mundane, such as pairing your phone.
The series starts with this walkaround introduction to the glorious 2020 Corvette Stingray. Enjoy. And dream.
