New Champion Tops Consumer Reports 2020 Most Reliable Cars
Consumer Reports has released this year's roster of automotive brand reliability as rated by owner surveys and there's a surprise first-time winner.
November 18, 2020
The magazine polled more than 300,000 vehicle owners to gather the results. Those owners report problems ranging from paint blemishes to troublesome infotainment displays and even a transmission that needed replacement after only 5,000 miles.
Results are available for 26 brands, as slower-selling brands Acura, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Fiat, Genesis, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, and Mitsubishi didn't produce sufficient data for reliable scoring. Click through the slideshow for details on each brand's result.
