Nissan senior project engineer Mat Wright was in the thick of Nissan's development work for the sleek new 2023 Nissan Z. Covid travel restrictions interfered with the company's usual procedure of bringing together its American and Japanese engineers to collaborate in the same place, so Wright and his team learned to tag-team with Japanese engineers who worked as Wright and his colleagues slept.
