Continental has named DuPont Mobility & Materials Supplier of the Year for the fourth year in a row. The mobility technology company recognized DuPont as a reliable supplier for its advanced dynamic solutions division, “providing outstanding quality performance across all locations,” said Continental in making the announcement.

DuPont supplies Zytel nylon resin across Europe and China to enable solutions in structural automotive components and Hytrel resin for constant velocity joint (CVJ) boots.

“We are both proud and humbled to have received this outstanding recognition for a fourth year in a row,” said Rudy van Engen, Sales Director, EMEA, at DuPont. “This success is the result of our team’s commitment to working closely with Continental and to continuously innovating while providing technical and commercial excellence.”

One of the world’s largest industry and automotive suppliers and a global customer for DuPont, Continental said that it has given this award every year since 2008 based on a comprehensive review of strategic suppliers using a rigorous assessment system. DuPont was selected as one of five suppliers from more than 170 nominees following a rigorous assessment that comprised a range of criteria including quality, technology, logistics, total cost, and general terms.
