Friday Funny: Making Oxygen on Mars

At the Jet Propulsion Lab, they’re creating a system to turn Martian atmosphere into oxygen.

For this week’s fun, we decided to check out MOXIE, the JPL’s Mars oxygen experiment. First, they create Martian atmosphere; then they turn it into breathable gas for humans. Why? Because you can’t cart enough oxygen to Mars on a spaceship. This is the key to sending humans to Mars. Just amazing.
