Wittenstein's The alpha V-Drive servo
worm gearboxes have been updated with new features and added torque. The
VDS (shaft output) and VDH (hollow output) gearhead versions have
stainless-steel interfaces to provide service life in washdown applications.
Accessories for these models are also available in stainless steel. The
V-Drive washdown version is food-grade lubrication. This option allows the
V-Drive to be used in the food and packaging industry while maintaining torque
capacity at 100 percent. The lubrication is NSF certified with a protection
category of IP 65.
