Self-lubricating linear bearing pillow blocks are designed to reduce maintenace costs and related downtime for bearing systems that are not easily accesible.

When lubrication breaks down, it doesn't matter how robust the bearing is-especially in lighter load, long-travel applications where extended life is desired. These new self-lubricating linear bearing pillow blocks use an oil-saturated polymer with "sponge-like" behavior. A wire spring maintains constant contact, depositing just the right amount of lubricant on the shaft for given temperature and pressure conditions as the bearing moves. A double-lip nitrile seal keeps the lubrication within the custom metal housing, and helps prevent contamination.

Available as an accessory for existing applications with .50-, .75-, and 1-inch shaft sizes, the kits eliminate the costly reservoirs, controllers or switches, and plumbing associated with more complicated lubrication systems.
