Peristaltic pumps

MityFlex TM pumps, for food and beverage, chemical, water purification, and wastewater treatment industries, are sealless and self-priming, with consistent positive displacement. They are capable of handling a wide variety of viscosities from gases to heavy slurries. The pumps feature variable speed controls with flow rates ranging from 0.04 to 3,800 m(liter)/min. Ac voltages range from 24 to 240V in 60 or 50 Hz, and in 12 and 24V dc. Custom orders can be met to fit specific OEM engineering requirements.

Micro pump

The self-priming 5m(liter) micro pump is designed to provide OEM designers and manufactures of scientific and electronic instrumentation with compact, reliable, and economical components for handling programmed, precision-controlled micro dispensing of high purity or aggressive fluids. The fixed displacement diaphragm pump can be factory set to handle discrete fixed output flows in volumes from 3 to 8 (m(liter)) per solenoid actuation to provide an inert fluid path for precise, repeatable dispensing with an accuracy of 0.5 (m(liter)).

Floating-caliper brake

The new Spring-Applied, Hydraulically-Released (SAHR) Floating Caliper Disc Brake is designed to be used as a parking and emergency brake. The SAHR is released by continuous fluid pressure under normal operating conditions. A drop in this release pressure-due to actuation of the brake valve, or failure of the pressure-supply system-initiates an integrated spring for safe-breaking operation. The brake has a maximum clamping force ranging from 4,370 to 7,420 lbs and torque ranges from 17,170 to 80,190 ft-lbs.

Air gun

The shockless Ion Air Gun neutralizes static electricity and cleans at distances of 15 ft. It induces surrounding airflow through the gun at a ratio of 5:1, minimizing compressed air use and maximizing ionized airflow. The force can be adjusted from a "blast" to a "breeze." A comfortable grip and hand position allows hours of continuous use without fatigue. Applications include cleaning molded parts, prepaint dust removal, furniture finishing, and package cleaning prior to labeling or printing.

Miniature check valves

All metal construction ball type check valves are available in brass or stainless steel and are suitable for use with liquids or gases. The fixed flow controls are a parallel arrangement of a ball check valve and a precision orifice. Free flow occurs in one direction, metered flow occurs in the opposite direction. Fixed flow controls are tamperproof and insure unchanged operation. The valves and controls are manufactured with 10 to 32 threaded connections, 1/8 and 1/4 inch NPT threads, and press-in inserts

Pilot actuated valves

The PAV-2/PAV-3 pilot actuated poppet valves are brass and available in either 2-way or 3-way configurations, normally closed or open with #10-32 or 1/8 NPT ports. With supply air to the poppet valve, valve function is controlled by the pilot. The valve is accuated by supplying a minimum pilot pressure of 15 psig. In 3-way versions, exhaust is ported through the hole at the base of the mounting thread.

Directional control valves

New 5-ported, 3-position, 4-way air valves are available with 1/4 or 3/8 NPT ports and choice of spools: all ports blocked in center position for use on conventional block-and-hold circuits; and float center spool with only the inlet port blocked in center position for use when cylinder piston must be free to float with manual or machine movement. Pre-lubed from the factory, the valves can operate to 150 psi. A Cv factor of 1.0 allows 56.2 SCFM free flow to atmosphere at 80 psi supply pressure.

Variable volume pumps

The LPV Series variable volume pumps are designed to replace conventional syringe and peristaltic pumps. Reportedly, they offer the accuracy and precision of the conventional syringe pumps in a smaller, lighter package. The coefficient of variation is only .04% at full stroke. The variable dispense volume provided by the pumps yields greater system design flexibility and the design allows the pump to be located wherever the fluidic requirements dictate, regardless of maintenance accessibility.

Flow regulators

Pressure Compensated Flow Control (PCFC) flow regulators are designed to satisfy applications that require a constant volumetric flow rate regardless of pressure fluctuations. By maintaining the differential pressure across a restriction at a fixed value, the flow rate remains constant. Functionally, this principle requires two restrictions, one variable (a piston), and one fixed (a needle valve set to the desired flow rate).
