Sensor Housing

Explosion proof

Designed for Class I, Division I, Groups A, B, C, and D areas, the TempoGuard II explosion-proof, high-pressure housing is sold as an integrated, IP68 sealed, stainless steel sensor package. It reportedly prevents ignition of flammable gasses and vapors by containing possible combustion within the sealed housing. The sensor provides reliable and accurate magnetostrictive position sensing in a safe package, according to the company. MTS Sensorshttp://rbi.ims.ca/3847-607

Position Transducers

Easy to install

The company's rotary and linear position transducers are designed to accommodate the SAE J1939-based CAN protocol, and are ideal for vehicles used in the forestry, agricultural, and construction industries. The products reportedly transmit 16-bit "absolute" position data over the robust, industry-standard bus protocol. At the core of the products is a rugged, high-precision, conductive-plastic potentiometer, and they are reportedly easy to install with the standard five-pin micro connectors that plug directly into the network. Linear actuator line

Compact design

Now available is the entire ScrewRail line featuring a compact design for linear motion applications requiring extra support and guidance. The Mini ScrewRail is available in a 0.375-inch outside diameter; it uses the company's proprietary Kerkote(TM) TFE coating on the lead screw and guide rail. The product is designed for medical, data storage, semiconductor, and photonics equipment applications where accurate positioning in a confined space is a primary design objective. Coupling

For various bore sizes

Created to increase versatility, the company's CD(R) Couplings use the new QD hub and brushing model, making it able to accommodate a variety of QD brushing bore sizes. It is available in Single Flex models that provide misalignment up to 3 degrees angular, 0.025 inch parallel, and 0.160 inch axial; and Double Flex models providing misalignment up to 3 degrees angular, 0.089 inch parallel, and 0.32 inch axial. All models feature an open arm disk pack design made of rugged composite material. Zero-Maxhttp://rbi.ims.ca/3847-610

Brushless DC motor

Low profile

Intended for applications where high power needs to be efficiently produced in a limited space, the 000-0362 brushless dc motor has a recorded operating voltage of 28V, and is reportedly capable of delivering over 45 oz-inch of continuous torque. It features a 1.85-inch profile and motor diameter of 4.2 inches. The product has been designed to achieve an efficiency of 85 percent at its load point. Custom mounting configurations are available. AS-Interface master

Compact

Designed to allow easy and quick integration of the AS-Interface bus protocol as a sub-network to other popular bus protocols, such as Ethernet, PROFIBUS, DeviceNET, and MODBUS, the 750-655 AS-Interface master is housed in a 12-mm wide package. It is reportedly easily integrated into the I/O node as was the company's other 750 series I/O modules. It can support up to 62 A/B slave devices and provides the flexibility to wire the network in star, line, branch, or tree configuration, according to the company. Motion system

Simplifies multi-axis applications

Created to assist integrators, OEMs, and end users to reduce the time required to specify, design, and install multi-axis systems, the company's Cartesian Motion Systems (CMS) are pre-configured Cartesian Robots in one, two, or three axes. They use the company's standard compact modules and servo drives, and can be ordered completely pre-assembled or as a ready-to-assemble kit, according to the company. It is designed for payloads up to 25 kg; speeds up to 1.0 m/s; and acceleration rates up to 15 m/s 2. Bosch Rexroth Corp.http://rbi.ims.ca/3847-613

Ethernet Controller

Higher volume processing

Designed for industrial applications, the SNAP-LCE controller is a stand-alone, small-footprint, industrial controller designed for use with the company's SNAP Ethernet-based I/O units. It provides real-time control and is programmed with the company's flowchart-based control programming software. It includes a built-in 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet port for attaching the controller to Ethernet networks; to computers on the network running industrial automation software; and to Ethernet-based I/O systems. No additional network cards are necessary. Opto 22http://rbi.ims.ca/3847-614
