The month of May marks the deadline for most students to decide which university they'll be attending in the fall. Of course earning potential is always a top concern among students (and their parents). Payscale.com has released its yearly numbers on the top engineering schools by salary potential and we decided to break down this year's top 15. Looking deeper by major and reported earnings although mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are most often seen among the most popular degree programs it is the software engineers who are reporting the highest national median salaries.
