Self-Retaining T-1 LED Mounting Spacers

Keystone ElectronicsCorp.'s new series of self-retaining, T-1 LED mounting spacers are designedfor uniform and perpendicular LED positioning and can reducing assembly costs. Theself-aligning LED spacers feature internal retention "teeth" that secure spacers onto LED leads, prior to assembly on PCB's.The design also eliminates the possibility of LED lead shorting by separatingand retaining component leads while inserting into a PCB. No special tools arerequired to preassemble LED's to spacers. The new spacers feature 0.020 inch (0.5 mm) legs incorporated intothe molded Nylon 6/6 structure to serve the dual purpose of heat dissipationand easy post-solder cleaning. Overall heightof the spacers range from 0.120 to 0.925 inch (3.0 to 23.5 mm). Keystone also has "Universal" and"Self-aligning" LED spacer mounts for Tri-lead and Bi-lead T-1 and T-1 3/4LED's.
