Schunk PZV Four-Finger Concentric Gripper

A more versatile gripper

This gripper series works in industrial and automation handling tasks where two and three-finger grippers won't work, such as cylindrical workpieces palletized in a grid. In addition, clamping two different sets of fingers allow the gripper to be used as a parallel gripper for clamping different parts. It comes in four sizes, grips at 580N (130 lbf) - 7,100N (1,600 lbf), and has strokes ranging from 6-25 mm per finger. It uses the same serrated jaw and wedge hook system featured in the company's two and three-finger gripper line. The company also provides inductive proximity sensor mounting with fully adjustable targets and integrated mounting of magnetic switches. Schunk Inc.
