Western Plastics (www.wplastic.com), a division of the Scott Fetzer Corporation, now offers thermoset injection molding at its Portland, TN plant. The company has purchased two 330-ton Bucher thermoset molding machines, which it will use to process bulk molding compounds from BMC Inc. The thermoset capabilities will primarily enable the company to tackle applications currently done with die cast aluminum.
