Life in the fastener lane

In a bind to find fastener information? Then, http://www.fastenersources.com can hook you right up.

The website offers more than 900 fastener product groups from over 1,600 suppliers worldwide. While surfing the site we also found it nailed down a lot of technical information as well. There's a quality section with information on testing, terms, and engineering data-such as chemical composition of metals, alloys, and plastics; a hardness conversion table; screw thread limits; a plating specifications index; glossary of finishing terms; and a ton on the nuts and bolts of fastening.

Other site benefits include a Tech Talk section with discussions on topics such as failures, materials, threads and torque (note: registration required, but painless to participate); an industry news section; and of course the products listed by standard, metric, aerospace, and international.

Bolt on over to this site and bookmark it for future reference!
