Goodfellow Releases Ultra-Thin PEEK Film

Goodfellow recently released its ultra-thin PEEK film. The new film is a radiation-, chemical- and temperature-resistant thermoplastic that can withstand heat up to 250C. The ultra-thin PEEK film is amorphous and transparent with a thickness of .006 mm. Goodfellow’s PEEK film is thermoformable at 155C.

Applications for Goodfellow's PEEK film include x-ray windows, instrument windows and flexible printed circuit boards. The cost of the film varies based on quantity and size, but according to the Goodfellow website one 150 x 150 mm sheet of film costs $189 and 20 of them cost $414.
