FCT Assembly Debuts No-Clean Solder Pastes

FCT Assembly has released a new line of no-clean, halogen-free solder pastes. The company noted the pastes have a shelf life of nine months when stored properly and can be stored at room temperature for up to one month.

“Our focus over the last couple of years has been to develop very stable solder pastes that are completely halogen-free. Our new series of no-clean solder pastes were developed as a result of this commitment,” said Mike Scimeca, president & CEO of FCT.

NC676 no-clean, leaded, halogen-free solder paste is pin probable and leaves a clear residue.

NL930PT no-clean, lead-free, halogen-free solder paste is pin probable and leaves a clear residue.

NL932 no-clean, lead-free, halogen-free solder paste leaves a clear residue that can be cleaned with a saponifier.

The new line of leaded and lead-free solder pastes is halogen-free with stability that offers optimal printing capabilities and performance. FTC notes the new pastes are not only below what IPC defines as halide-free, but contain zero halogens, making them truly halogen-free.
