Creator Series will launch with its first two resins – Creator Tough Resin and Creator Super Clear Resin – that enable hobbyist printers to produce aesthetically pleasing and high-quality minis, figurines, and other low-impact parts. The new resins are packaged in a basic plastic bottle, rather than a cartridge, to be poured directly into the resin tank by hand, offering a more simplified user experience with reduced mechanical properties.

Here are some details about the Creator Series:

  • Creator Tough Resin: A tough, strong, and semi-flexible ABS-Like resin, with a matte gray finish that provides a perfect canvas for painting.

  • Creator Super Clear Resin: An ultra clear, strong, and stiff resin, making it perfect for creating optically clear parts, that can be easily post-processed with clear coat or polishing to achieve superior clarity, and can be dyed to create fun colors.

Validated print settings profiles are available on creator.formlabs.com as well as Chitubox and Lychee Slicers.

These resins are formulated without harmful chemicals typically found in low-cost hobbyist resins, including 4-Acryloylmorpholine (ACMO) that creates a harmful vapor and bad odor when heated and can cause skin rashes and burns.
