GM Robo-Glove

Working with NASA, General Motors engineers created a “Robo-Glove” that enables users to maintain their grip on an object longer and more comfortably. The automaker hopes the glove will help reduce the risk of repetitive stress injury on the shop floor.

looks cool. what kind of servo are they using? and what kind/brand sensors/ and how much do these cost and can we buy them or olny GM?

how much extra force is being applied and how does the glove muiltply the amount of applied force?

are they using load cells for feed back to the servos or are the servos using current curves to apply a known force?
