Richard W. Marks, President of EnVironmental Transportation Solutions, LLC (EVTSolutions, LLC) has 40 years of experience in automotive.  He worked 25 years for General Motors and on the EV1 electric vehicle program.  He left GM believing he was more committed to this disruptive technology than GM's management.  He then worked for two Tier 1 suppliers for 6 years, but left to form his own electric vehicle consulting company.  For the last 6 years he has worked on EcoV and built several prototypes.  Since 2005, he put together his team and now they are going aggressively after funding to start the enterprise.

Marks holds a BSME from the University of Maryland and a MSME from Cornell University.  He attended classes at Wayne State University for a MBA.  He is a registered professional engineer in Michigan.

EVTSolutions, LLC develops and markets an urban based electric Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), using an established world-class contract assembler.  The management team consists of experienced automobile executives with successful start-up and entrepreneurial skills.  EcoV Electric is a 25 mph street legal LSV that is road worthy with automotive ride, comfort, and reliability while offering a safe driving experience on public roads.  We are changing the paradigm on LSV's from the original dual purpose vehicle used to play golf in and ride on restricted access public roads, to EcoV, as daily driver on all public roads 35mph and slower and feel safe and comfortable.   EVTSolutions is a niche company, building a niche product in niche volumes (<30,000 EcoV's per year), for a niche market but we can be very profitable providing a high value product like EcoV.

EcoV is fun and friendly, practical, and easy on the budget.  No emissions, noise, odors, no CO2 released, no more trips to the gas station and nearly maintenance free. EcoV is a road-worthy commercial fleet and private use vehicle for $11,999 well equipped.
