Elizabeth, I've been sick for about 2 weeks. The first week was heck(about the worst I have ever felt in my life). The second week I think was self induced by stress. A big ball of stress that I let go of last night. I feel better now. I hope it's not what they call remission. I hope not. I'm tired of being tired and tired of being sick.
There is one thing I do. It doesn't help my sleep, but it helps to not disturb it. I turn off all the ringers on all of my phones. The last thing I want is to be having a GREAT sleep and be woken up by a telemarketer, or even my friends that just want to say "Hey". I can always call them back. I actually have grown to HATE the sound of a ringing phone. A notice on my pc or tv is way better.
Elizabeth. You got me to think. I guess it would be nice to know not only how to fix it, but what it's doing to me. I don't really have set hours either, but that isn't my problem. I just can't stay asleep. No problem falling asleep, it's just staying there that is hard for me. I envy those that can just go to sleep whenever and sleep no problem. It's probably just my bad sleeping habits. No routine..etc.
Indeed, Daniyal, I thank my lucky stars every day. ;) But if it's any consolation, today I used an alrm! And yes, any device that can help me figure out why my sleep is so disturbed would be a handy device for me.
Being a custom product designer, I've designed many robust products beyond "weather-resistant" -- (some even submersible) -- which have changeable batteries; so that's not really a difficult hurdle to overcome.More to your other point, where the integrity of the lock "body" itself may be something less than solid to accommodate battery , circuitry & antenna.That was the original though behind the comment to let an experienced lock company to do it.( ,,,and I just notice I spelled "Legacy" wrong in the Red Headline![Sorry!] )
Ah, Daniyal, I know what you mean. I am one of those people fortunate enough to not have to use an alarm to wake up, because I have a flexible work schedule (I use an alarm only if I need to be up really early for something), and your comment made me think what a luxury that is. Imagine just sleeping through until you've gotten a decent night's sleep instead of being jarred awake by a machine! So the idea of even more intrusion into sleep probably isn't that inviting. Then again, as I said in my previous comment, because my sleep is often interrupted, it might be nice to know how I can change that.
Those examples you mentioned can also be implemented by using the remote controlled plane as well. The thing that i love about the hand-guided plane is that it makes the controlling easier and gets rid of the remote. So it kind of adds fun to the whole idea of remote controlled planes, and makes it more realistic.
