Rich, this is another application of the 64-bit ARM processor that I am seeing. It is interesting, but I am not sure that a 64-bit processor is necessary for some of these applications, yet. The advantage of 64-bit is in the address space. This is why ARM has not been seen in the server market. Now with 64-bit it is possible to make servers that are really energy aware. Companies like HP are working on these.
