Thanks for your comment, bobjengr. I've written a few stories about safety and perhaps you've seen those, too. It is a very important issue, as your personal experience shows. i'm happy to know that this device will be worthwhile for machine builders.

Excellent Post Elizabeth.  I design and build work cells to automate manufacturing processes.  This device will definitely fit into the work I do and allow troubleshooting to boot.  As you know, OSHA has a lockout/tagout requirement for all electrical boxes supplying voltage to machinery and equipment.  The Rockwell device will add an additional safety feature to automated equipment and allow for a computer interface.  It definitely complements the overall design.   Again, great post.
