I agree. It seems Festo has the market on creating robotic animals. The movement in all of the robotic animals shown in the YouTube videos are spectacular. As I was watching the movement of these graceful machines, the engineering that went into them must have been in the thousands of man hours to design and build them. Very nice videos.
I checked out the other videos Ann and I was blown away! The level of sophistication that have been engineered into them is incredible. The SmartBird was amazing and to see it in-flight was surreal. I can't wait to see what they come out with next.
It is unbelievable; the level of technology and engineering put in the development of this BionicKangaroo is marvelous. After watching Festo's video am left surprised, and if you want to know what am talking about then have a look at the video. The way it balance while jumping is just extraordinary. I think coordinating balance and motion is not that easy but Festo engineers made it a success. Good work guys and keep it on.
The level of engineering that went into the BionicKangaroo is absolutely astounding! It almost has a natural range of motion as well, which is incredibly difficult to recreate even for robotic snakes. My hats off to the engineers at Festo. Great work!
