No doubt robots are important because they make the lives of human simple , easy and stress free but robots without humans are also nothing that is if something goes wrong in the robot than it is the human only who repairs it and fix it down . so we can conclude that robots cant take the place of humans.
Cabe, you are right no doubt robots cant replace humans but they can work more hard than them we can say that humans are smart workers and robots are hard workers they continue to work and work and work without getting tired and bored .
Good point, SherpaDog. It probably won't happen for awhile, but you never know--someday it could! I personally am still impressed by robots like BigDog and LS3. Just their sheer mass and the fact that they can move autonomously (well, LS3 can) is impressive to me.
