@Pubudu – yes I have the same question too, day light energy is fine but what about power for evening hours. Do these lenses store energy for later use.

@Pubudu – a good one that's bad news for fast food chains, when you see the amount of calories on a meal you will only prefer to have a salad and some fruits.

It's interesting to see how many new devices attempt to address the symptoms of diabetes.  But, few to none address the causes.

Maybe using the device to get the real nutrition facts in our food will help people avoid processed foods and avoid diabetes.

I don't remember the petinspect gadget.  Is it still needed?  Most reputable pet sitter/boarders have webcams with 24/7 online access to view fluffy and fido while the owner is away.

Very innovative and useful gadget in modern day food pattern and I am sure that it has a capability of calculating the sum of ingredients that we have taken for the day. But I feel that the price is not in the frame of affordability, it is almost same price of the smart phone.

I feel that this would be a fashionable item with the small lines of the circuit and the indicating LED rather than a health care device.

I can't think of a solar powered device in my eye. I wonder how it really picks up light as we never look at the sunlight directly. Does it have a method to store the power generated for use at dark hours of the day?

@Lauren – Wow, thanks for sharing the great gadgets. I love the Smart Contact lenses that measure the glucose levels. I wish it could have had a HUD (heads up display) so that you could see more information of the food before you consume.
