I had not seen the crazy kart before, but it certainly appears to combine a number of characteristics and some very interesting applications of kinetics.

And definitely no hint of a focus group. Those groups are made up of folks with nothing better to do, after all.

And a very interesting departure from having the handling characteristics that make what would typically be called a "good" race car.

Certainly a lot of creativity is shown here, especially in making the package hold together for a satisfactory product lifetime. That is the second challenge of product development.
