Rob, that sounds like a great time.  California in February is also really nice compared to much of the rest of the country.  I look forward to hearing about it.

That's a pretty awesome promo video for the show. I'm pleased to see a strong presence of robotics being utilized in the manufacturing sector. Also, its nice to know manufacturing is returning to the states to help out the state of economy. Last, having Gadget Freak winners display their cool projects provides a nice Maker touch to the show since the emphasis is on building products. Very nice promo video!

Hey MrDon, perhaps this will inspire you and your students to start putting Gadget Freak submission together. I know you're tied up with teaching and writing books, but a gadget could be fun respite.

Awesome suggestion. I have two students in the ITT Tech ET Club who would be interested in developing gadgets for the column. I've got a few concepts as well that I need to bounce off with you if your time permits.

I agree. The promo video really motivates you to attend the show. It's quite impressive to see most of the exhibits displaying forms of robotic systems to aid in the automation manufacturing process in the video. Looks like a good show to attend.
