Indeed, this combination of technologies is a good one. I'm surprised no one thought of it sooner. It might be a bit expensive for a gift unless it's for someone really special, but for the type of technology it is, i think it's a fair price.

A 3D printer with a 3D scanner will be the perfect gift for Christmas. Even though the gift might end up on the expensive side, but might be just worth it.

Recently I was checking out on 3D scanner, and I was thinking that a combo of 3d scanner with a 3d printer will serve really well. We can replicate things and modify them according to our own needs easily.

There are a lot of apps that can help you take 360 degree photos and the result is very good. It is indeed very interesting viewing pictures like these, but the problem is that they don't look that spectacular/fun in printed form as they look in the software form.

I agree, Elizabeth.  I like that 360 camera. I'll bet we'll be seeing a lot more 360 shots very soon.

Thanks for highlighting these cool new gadgets, Rob. They would make good Xmas gifts, I imagine! I especially like the fish-eye camera. I always love the effect of fish-eye lenses and this camera seems to make these type of shots even easier to catch.
