Thanks. We used 24-26 gauge in telecom. I have done my breadboarding using the pre-wired breadboards that take 20 or 22 gauge wire jumpers pushed into holes, but this layout usually is set up for a standard DIP package, and if the chips one is using are SMT or some other layout, I think the only way to use them would be some sort of adaptor to a dip. I presume SMT, BGA, and other physical chip layouts can be mated with wire wrap header boards?
