@Pubudu - Good point. Filmmaking just might get revolutionized by this as the level of detail produced in this 3D printing is above and beyond the conventional figures used in making movies.

@Pubudu - In case of SIMS, it'll require production in bulk so I'm pretty positive the prices will come down.

@Pubudu - I don't think mainstream customers are a target at this point. This is still experimental work. Sophistication is inevitable, so are lower production and retail costs.

Now I feel that there will be a big demand in these from the film industries , this will be a cheaper option for them in some shootings.

@a.saji, if it's going to use high end material for a better quality definitely it will increase the price further more. I thing that different level of quality, for the different leave of pricing would be the best option.

Yes TJ defiantly there will be a market for SIMS, but if they charging 300/= per 6 inchers I feel that the price is also will be high for the SIMS also.

Rue Rob I also agree with you, I also can't imaging the target customers for these products who will pay that much of money

If you look closely, the floor gives it away. But regardless, this is amazing stuff. The level of detail you can print in such a miniature is mind boggling. Thumbs up!
