a.saji you are correct enerygy should be utilized in proper manner. Getting cell phone charged with the help of shorts on the go is really very interesting and innovative technique this invention can end the frustration of mobile users left with flat batteries. All these inventions show how technology is moving so high but still more work is required in this invention

Why did Vodafone see the need to use the balloon caption "Charging the voids" AND put it in the proximity they did?

There's so much to work with in this article - thank you Elizabeth!

Harvesting body heat is terrific.  The first thought was, why stop at just a pocket?  A form-fitting outfit (something like the racing swim-suits seen in the Olympics collects all of the heat.

Then the image of such an undergarment made me think of a superhero costume - and we'd be able to cast electric arcs with our hands.

This brings convenience to the user as now they could charge their mobile without a power outlet. It also helps us to save energy. I feel- very soon we will have a wireless charging pocket too.

Wow that's innovation. What more could you expect than harvesting energy from your own body. We are wasting plenty of heat emitted from our body why not make use of it.

This is one of the best applications of energy harvesting I've seen. Imagine how much energy could be saved -- literally millions of people of every day could be charging their phones while the phones sit in their back pockets.

Energy is something which we should save at every possible time. I do not think there will such an issue but definitely it needs to be utilized in a proper manner.

it is now time for "energy harvesting". these energy harvesting revolution will herald a new stream of engineering which demands interdisciplinary effort and knowledge. This will also trigger product innovation that will result in soultions hitherto "unknown" or not even though of ..!
