I like the electric taxi, although I do wonder how an all-electric taxi will do, given the range and recharge limitations. The Prius is one of the all-time great taxis, largely because it lasts 300,000 miles and gets more than 40 mpg, so the hybrid technology more than pays for itself.

The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is also green Lauren. Green is making a comeback.

Agreed, Naperlou. But at $569,000, it's a tad pricey.

I understand that in the movie about the Green Lantern, they used a '71 Dodge Challenger. I didn't see the movie. For the next movie, it will be interesting to see if they use the Kia.

Nice job, Lauren, of giving us a broad sampling of what was on display. Going fast is the most fun, but I am also fascinated by the use of materials and other cool gadgets that are increasingly being put into the cars that us "normal" folks might actually be able to afford.

Well, after the first slide, the McLaren 12C, I found the rest of it sort of slow.

Thanks Rob! The Green Lantern Kia was definitely a cool car. Green is my favorite color so all the green pulled me in. I was especially loving the green tint. And it fights evil? Double win!

Nice slide show, Lauren. My favorite is the Green Lantern Kia. I'm a sucker for gimmicks -- and I'm also a sucker for cars that fight evil. Go Batmobile!
