It is only for the betterment of the people, that simulators are introduced. The initial cost seems a lot but eventually in the long run people are going to save the money. As you have mentioned, fligh simulators saves lots of money for defence and is also a safe option for trainess. There are many other useful simulators in the market as well such as golf simulator, car simulators and etc and I am sure in future there will be many more such simulators.
