Later this week,  the inagural International Connected Vehicles Conference (www.iccve.org) will get underway. Experts from across the globe, including former US. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta, will be gathering to discuss the issues related to implementing a more connected means of transportation (commercial and public). The topics range from designing the vehicles themselves to the enabling systems and the infrastructure itself.
