I agree, Jenn. The timing of this is particularly good now that Design News is putting an emphasis on digital and interactive content. I would imagine there is pent up demend for high-quality mobile access to Design News content.

TJ, We are looking at doing an Android app but I don't have a timeframe for you right now. As for Naperlou's question about the iPads, I say we buy two and charge 'em to him :)

TJ, I would like to see that as well.  On the other hand Alex could just get us an iPad.  What about it Alex?

This is great news for Design News and our readers, and it's long overdue. While DN has always made it's content easily available to readers, now our non-print subscribers can see the work our art directors and edit team do to make the magazine look great. It's a win for everyone involved. So, like Alex said, please let us know what you think, and how we might be able to make Design News even better.

Otherwise, you increase the risk of discovering a safety issue after a product leaves the assembly line. That will cause significant time-to-market delays, be much costlier to fix, and damage your brand in the eyes of customers.
