A Dunkermotor cannot perform high speed gyrostabilization and their controller doesn't have the capacity for dual trajectory mode (which the SmartMotor can do and does have). 

Even if you added the cost of an advanced motion controller and drives to the Dunkermotor, the limitations of input to the motor could block the ability to use it.

For this application, there were NO external controls required.

For cost of the entire Pan & Tilt system you can contact Burchfield Automation (www.burchfieldautomation.com) or for the SmartMotor cost you can call their distributors (http://www.animatics.com/sales-offices.html).
