At the risk of sounding like an early market zealot, it is pretty amazing at what's been done with 3D printing today. Stay tuned--we'll soon be posting a pretty lengthy slide show that chronicles some of the major advances and provides insight into several of the off-there applications that are now possible with this emerging technology.

This makes me think of Lego building blocks, almost at the molecular level.  We are so close to replicators like Star Trek, hundreds of years sooner.
