I just love to hear and see what engineers do with their spare time.  Not only is it cool but sharing things like this with kids, neices and nephews shows them that science isn't all boring but can be fun as well.  Kudos to this silly little time piece.

This is awesome!  I remember having these as a kid and this gives me an excuse, albiet an egocentric one, to start gathering these birds again!
