Very interesting indeed. The puzzle to me is in the demonstration the spark and the music did not seem to match.

Now I need to get an ignition coil so that I can try this experiment

Now this is cool. You have to watch the video to get the full flavor of what Joe has accomplished here. It's much more intricate that Hendrix smashing his guitar up against an amp (which wasn't bad in its way). Good going, Joe.
