Elastomer Gel vs Silicone

It would be very interesting/educational to find a comparison between this elastomer gel and silicone rubber.

Aside from the fact that the elastomer gel is thermoplastic (can be melted and reformed) and silicone is a thermoset material (molded once and your done), I wonder how the gel holds up in other mechanical properties in comparison to silicone rubber.
