Isn't IOHomecontrol used in HAN by smart appliance manufacturers? --

It may be. i am unfamiliar with this one. I have seen appliance manufacturers advertise Bluetooth connectivity. I think someone makes a bluetooth refrigerator.

At first, you may think, why does my refirgerator need bluetooth?

Here is where intelligence distributed around the facility and world can make a difference.

If your cell phone reports your position with GPS, your haous may know that yuou will be passing a convenience market. Your refigerator can say "I need milk" and text you to stop at the convenience market to pick some up.
