Syndicated content, otherwise known as Really Simple Syndication (RSS), is a popular way to receive updates and news from Web sites. Using RSS, news sites and blogs can feed their articles or entries to subscribers automatically. Because RSS is still new, not all Web sites publish in RSS. Below is a list of the featured RSS feeds you can subscribe to from Design News.
Now you can receive all of DN 's great content—including application stories, product coverage, how-to tutorials, and editorials--as soon as we publish them. To start receiving our headlines instantly, just drag the orange XML or RSS button directly into your RSS reader.
We encourage you to use our feeds, so long as you do not post our full-text stories, and so long as you provide proper attribution to Design News.
Whenever you post Design News content on your web site or anywhere else, please provide attribution to Design News, either as text (Design News) or with a graphic (Design News 80 x 30 Logo) if you use the feeds publicly -- meaning, where anyone but yourself will read them.
Design News reserves all rights in and to the logo, and your right to use the logo is limited to providing attribution in connection with the RSS. We simply ask that you always note the source of the information.
Look for either of these logos on our site and in our e-newsletters to subscribe: /
Get an RSS Reader
To use these feeds we've set up, you need to use a program called an RSS reader or news aggregator. It runs on your local computer, regularly goes to a list of Web sites that you specify, and tells you what the newest content on those sites is.
If you use the My Yahoo customization feature, one of the easiest ways to get started is to add the RSS headlines to your personal page. Read how at Yahoo's RSS FAQs
