The popularity of Arduino-based projects for Do-It-Yourself (DIY) enthusiasts continued to grow during the COVID-19 ridden year of 2020. Arduino, one of the most widely used open-source electronics platforms, formed the basis for many COVID-19 medical prototypes – often used in conjunction with 3D printing technology.

As an open-source platform, many different technical professionals contribute designs, tips, and information to the Arduino community – from college students and software programmers to professional developers. These contributions make for a rich and vibrant collection of designs.

This gallery shares some of the most intriguing DIY designs based on the Arduino for 2020, as well as a few tips, tools, and courses to help you along in your projects.
