PRAHT resistor arrays
Vishay's PRAHT series of high-precision thin film SMD wraparound chip resistor arrays are optimized for high-temperature down-hole and aeronautics applications. The PRAHT resistors are the first such products on the market to offer the combination of an operating temperature range to 215C and industry-high maximum storage temperature up to 230C.

To increase aircraft fuel efficiency, manufacturers are moving electronics closer to their function in order to decrease the weight of the aircraft by reducing cabling. This change has created new performance requirements for electronic components, including the need for resistors that can provide long-term reliability at high temperatures above 155C. With their operating temperature range to 215C, industry-high maximum storage temperature up to 230C, and load life stability of 0.7 percent, devices in Vishay's new PRAHT series of  thin film SMD wraparound chip resistor arrays are ideal for aircraft engine and braking systems. In addition, for down-hole applications the devices' high-temperature performance allows extraction tools to dig deeper in the ground.
