It is fun to look inside these devices.  The CPU is almost as fast as my laptop with as many cores.  Power in the hand.  This one looks well laid out.  Thanks.

Still some glue, but at least you could replace the battery if you needed to.

I have to say that I as much as I love tear downs (this is a good one-as usual), I'm not patient enough to click through the slides one-by-one.  It would be great if I could skip to slide 30 and then come back and scroll through the other slides.

Yes, I tend to read the last line of a book before I start on page one too.

Not so sure the Google smartphone would be great in use, but this makes a great teardown. I just can't get enough of these.

After going through the specification, it seems to be one of the high end devices. 2.26GHz Quad core processor with 2GB RAM is great. But I would like to get some review with respect to functionalities and other features.

Battery temperature

The battery's list of no-no's says keep the temperature less than 104° F !

Where I live, Scottsdale, Arizona, it can get as high as 122°F (50°C), and

in the sun can reach much more.   I hope they don't mean that.

I'm in Scottsdale as well, might have to do a little more research before I grab one of these.

You can at least skip to the last photo.  In your browser URL, you can edit the photo number to show the last slide.

I just had one of our battery engineers in here and I showed him the temp specs on this battery.

He said that 104 F is a normally suggested high end range for Lion batteries... It is a life span problem. At higher temperatures the service life falls off, and above 104F that degradation becomes significant.

Also note the 140F MAX... At that point expected life span drops to about 25%... It becomes a fire hazard somewhere above 200F

Just don't leave this phone in the car or lying in the sun on a hot sunny day and it should be okay.
