Cabe, as of now you are right and now spectaculations are about Nexus 6. When technology is moving fast ahead, the time frame between releases becomes short. This can put customers in anxiety too.

I just had one of our battery engineers in here and I showed him the temp specs on this battery.
He said that 104 F is a normally suggested high end range for Lion batteries... It is a life span problem. At higher temperatures the service life falls off, and above 104F that degradation becomes significant.
Also note the 140F MAX... At that point expected life span drops to about 25%... It becomes a fire hazard somewhere above 200F
Just don't leave this phone in the car or lying in the sun on a hot sunny day and it should be okay.
