Hi Rob,

Leveraging the improvements in computational fluid dynamic software are to thank for the vast improvements in direct acting valves for transmissions.

Interesting, seems these advancements could be implemented in a wide variety of vehicles including helicopters where pilot-operated/direct-action valves could maintain a greater efficiency in transmission/energy convergence.
