Some very good and relevent points in the article.  The statement that the majority of products sold on the market are "not necessarily the best design" resonates with me.  I've witnessed this fact many times when I see a better engineered products that does not sell as well as an inferior product.  Buying decisions tends to be more an emotional experience rather than a rational one.

Nice article, Richard. The mini case studies are helpful. Who do you see as the core customer base for this? What industry? What size company? I realize it could be good for anyone, but there must be a target group that would be particularly interested in this.
